Welcome to Sra. Andree’s Spanish class! I am excited to have you in class this semester. My name is Julie Andree and I have been a Spanish teacher at Fruitport Community Schools for 21 years. I attended Aquinas College, where I earned my degree in Spanish and Communication Arts, and was fortunate enough to play on the women’s basketball team for four years. I also completed my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University.
I was born and raised in Howell, Michigan, the oldest of three children. family was and continues to be the most important thing in my life. Spending time with family and friends, playing and watching sports, especially Detroit Tigers baseball, and listening to music/attending concerts are what I enjoy doing in my free time.
I am happily married to my wonderful husband Bill, who is also a teacher. We have two beautiful daughters, Ella and Baylee. We love spending time together as a family, sharing our love of sports, traveling, and enjoying Michigan’s four seasons!
As a teacher, I hope to inspire people and share my passion for the Spanish language. I want my students to recognize their endless possibilities and realize all that they can accomplish. Most importantly though, I want kids to leave my class remembering to always “Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Resilient!”
